HCPT GROUP 117

Group 117 was formed in 2005 by a group of friends; John Martin, Richard & Emma Robson and Tobias Melia. All four had been to Lourdes many times before, with a variety of different groups, including Group 2, Group 32, Group 71, Group 142 and Group 154.

And so, having talked about starting a group for many years, John, Richard & Emma, and Tobias, finally bit the bullet and applied to HCPT following the Easter 2005 pilgrimage. Happily, in July 2005, we were accepted by HCPT HQ, who are based in Rugby, were allocated the Group number 117, and began the hard work of preparing for the 2006 Easter pilgrimage.

Easter 2006 will be, therefore, Group 117s first ever trip to Lourdes. We will be staying at the Hotel Beausite with two other HCPT groups - 167 and 199. Our group comprises of 10 children and 18 helpers and our colours are red and blue.

HCPT Group 117 would like to thank everyone who has helped support us over the last 6 months. We will remember you all when we visit the Grotto in April.
