Welcome to Groundsniffin Hounds! I developed my love for the hound breeds since I started showing. Particularly the Beagles, this merry little hound cathches my attention the first time I saw one. I decided to get a beagle, I was very happy with her, the hapiness she brought to me was second to none. Later on I decided to get a male, I had Sanzo, he is very wonderful boy, we walk every morning without a leash. He is very loyal, he is not just a dog for me he is also my best buddy. Beagles became part of my life since then. I've tried showing Sanzo, the first time I watched him in the ring him was a superb feeling. Dog showing is addictive, that's why I find ways to join every week. I really want to handle dogs insidethe ring, it's been my dream because I was thinking that my dogs will be more happy if both of us are there and work as a team. I tried to handle Sanzo at a hound group specialty we are very luck that day that he was Winnners Dog in the 1st ring and Reserved Winners Dog in the other ring. I am very happy that time, I know that was just a small achievement but for me that was huge. I don't aim high, I just want my self to enjoy aswell as my dogs. Then I handled Sanzo in every show we entered, I was very lucky that he finished his title by winning Winners Dog at 1st Philippine Beagle National Specialty Show. After finishing Sanzo, I've learn so much on dog showing and meet many friends. I've been studying beagles everytime I have a chance. It is great to learn new things about them. Since my first beagle is a red and white. I have soft spot on bi colored beagle. I will be more than happy to promote them in the show ring. 2007 Philippine Beagle Nationals became special for us, our little tan baby boy Nacho took Baby Puppy in Specialty Show under breeder / judge Mr. David Hiltz and his baby sister was next to him. But Pepper won't allow that she won't be bringing home a trophy, she was awarded Baby Puppy in Specialty Show under breeder / judge Mrs. Lesley Hiltz, his brother Nacho was also next to her. I amvery happy with the wins of our tan and white babies!

Nacho suprised us when he stole the moment last February 17, 2008 bringing home Runner up Best in Show from the Minor Puppy class. He was the first tan and white beagle to win a Best in show placement in the history of Dog Showing in the Philippines. Who knows maybe Nacho will suprise us again and become the first tan and white to win Best in Show! "One of the largest entries of the weekend were the Beagles with 35 on show, over all very good quality which surprised me as in previous appointments there were very few. For me the star of the show came from this breed as I found an eight month old lemon & white dog (GROUND SNIFFIN RED DRAGON) that I tried to pack into my suit case but the owner did not need my bucks, it was very close to going all the way but had to settle for reserve Best in Show". - Mr. Jack Peden, International judge, South Africa.  He finished 2008 as PCCI Number 2 Beagle and . Not bad for a young red head. Currently Nacho is multiple Group and placements winner, he also won All Breeds Local Bred in Show, Hound Group Best in Show and placements. Nacho just proved that any true hound colour can do well.

We have added Basenjis and Whippets in our home, they became great companions of our beagles. Our Basenjis came from some top winning lines in America, while our Whippets are daughters of 2001 Top Whippet, Belgian Whippet Club,  2002 Top Belgian Whippet, Sighthound Club and  2003 Top Dutch Whippet. I would like to thank Mr. Robert Dawson for letting us have this wondeful hounds. I am really looking forward on showing the new addition in our family.

Meeting good friends in the show world, allowed me to be associated with so many breeds, I do enjoy handling and playing different breeds in the ring. Boxers become special to me as we currently co-own with Mr. Harold Go and Mr. Aaron Go an All Breeds Best in Show winning Boxer, BIS Gr Ch Supreme Passion FireStarter. She is a lovely moving bitch with full of personality.
