This gelding was purchased to add to our other all around pleasure horses to be used for roadside, group rides and summer back country pack trips.

Here are some old photos the a previous owner sent to us...

In doing some research, we found that "Blue" sired 37 AQHA registered foals & 2 APHA registered foals... Here is a Paint daughter and also one of his "grandchildren" DAKOTA MOON SHADOW, 2000 AQHA Red Dun gelding

COLONEL JULY aka Lil Pic
COLONEL PIC x Happy Bar Lynx (by DOC'S LYNX and out of a GAY BAR KING daughter)
- AQHA #3440559
- 1994 sorrel gelding, 15.0 hands
- Great all-around pleasure horse... he rides, packs, roadside, mountains, annual Jackass Mail Run with traffic, guns & crowds, carries sponsor flags for local drill team and ANYTHING we've ever asked of him.
- Ties, clips, loads, hauls and easy to handle.
- Current on farrier, deworming and shots (INCLUDING WEST NILE).
This gelding is another great asset to our string of all-purpose riding horses and he is currently used most during the summer months on my Dad's back country pack trips.

REMEDYS SPARK aka Bubba
CHEX OUT THIS REMEDY x Monita Shining Spark (by SHINING SPARK)
- AQHA #4317160
- 2002 Dappled, buckskin gelding, 15.1 hands
- Big, solid and big-boned.
- Willing attitude, calm behaviour and mellow demeanor.
- 6 months training with Cal Poly student, Michelle Oveson.
This gelding is destined to replace my mother's aging gelding Mikey as her pleasure horse deluxe. She will pony others off of him during our roadside rides and enjoy hours of group trail rides. I may even get to use him for drill team this year if I ask real nice...
Here is a picture taken by Cal Poly (left) before we purchased him at the Snaffle Bit Futurity Sale in October 2004 and again in June 2005 at his new home.

Bubba is Mom's "Dreamhorse" who will likely replace her aging Mikey...
TATUMS SUGARFOOT aka Mikey

DOCS CHEX ACCOUNT aka Rocco
DOCTOR DEE CHEX (by BUENO CHEX) x Kansas Songbird (by Kansas Dillion)
- AQHA #2792190
- 1989 bay gelding, 14.2 hands
- Ultimate mountain horse: rides, packs, can lead or bring up the rear... he doesn't care as long as he gets to go along.
- Current on all farrier, deworming and shots (including West Nile)
This gelding has been a big asset to my father's mountain string. He's been ridden on the annual Jackass Mail Run with gunfire, crowds, authentic western wagons and he never bobbles. He's good on large group rides or just the family cruising around the neighborhood. He truly would be hard to replace.
Here's Dad on Tuffy leading Rocco (packed) in the back country...

ARCHIE
- 1997 Grade Sorrel Overo Gelding with 3 high stockings, 15.2 hands
- Ties, clips, loads, hauls and easy to handle
- Current on all farrier, deworming and shots (including West Nile)
- Only available for purchase by an approved home
Archie is an awesome gelding that we have used for several years now for roadside pleasure riding. He is suitable for all levels of riders. We have ridden and packed him in the mountains and we've even ridden him in the annual Jackass Mail Run where he seems unbothered by the gunfire, horse drawn wagons and lots of traffic.
Here he is in the Jackass mail run (top left), leading a string of mules in the backcountry (top right) and on the backcountry trails with my cousin and her young son (bottom).

PONCHO
D OR S LAST CAT (bay tobiano APHA #305815) x Grade Appaloosa mare
- ISHR #1933PA (registered with the International Spotted Horse Registry, Class A)
- Foaled May 16, 2003
- Bay and white Tobiano with Appaloosa blanket, 4 socks and a blaze, 14.3 hands as a yearling
- Ties, bathes, loads, hauls, ponies, lunges, easy to catch & handle
- Current on all farrier, deworming and shots (including West Nile)
Paint in front... Appy blanket in back... Great mind, nice hip, he's gonna be a big boy. His sire has many ranch, roping, barrel & pleasure type foals on the ground and dam is my dear friend's pack horse... she's the best little pack horse I've ever seen. He may not have the papers our others have, but he makes up for it in attitude & try! He had his roundpenning done in January 2005 and came home from 30 days at the local trainer at the end of February 2005.
He is no longer for sale as we have decided to keep this colt for my Dad's string of easy going, good-minded mountain horses. He will get more riding over the next year and join the string in 2006.
