Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, we are in the middle of rolling hills of citrus groves and cattle grazing. We enjoy pleasure riding, summer mountain pack trips to the Golden Trout Wilderness as well as group rides with other horse enthusiasts.
Daughter Jody does most of our training using her own spin on methods by Clinton Anderson, John Lyons and Odette Larson. We most often buy colored (palomino, buckskin or paint) youngsters to incorporate into our string of family all around pleasure horses. She also rides with the Springville Rodeo Association Drill Team and enjoys schooling her horses with an emphasis on softness, suppleness and willingness.
Son Cliff recently moved back to the area after being in Santa Barbara for several years. He's started riding more on the family's summer mountain pack trips and occasional group rides.
