Chesonia is a variable word, coming from the species name 'Cheso'.
The homeworld of this species is apparently unnamed, thus often reffered to as 'Chesonia', yet there is more to this word than just being a name. Chesonia means also the effect a Cheso, or the Cheso society would have on another society. Chesonia is a sign of becoming a Cheso, even though their species might be completely different (such as the Kzin). Thus this word could also describe a certain society or a certain way of life. Through the centuries, the meaning of this word varied a lot, and it will probably never have a clear meaning.

~ The Cheso Species finally set off into space, most of them intending to leave their homeplanet behind forever.
~ Their starfleet encounters the Kzinti species... or rather the other way round. They are being offered to join the Kzinti empire willingly. Being at great disadvantage, the Cheso Trinidad accepts, and the Cheso are added 'willingly' to the Kzinti Empire.
~ The Trinidad moves its HQ to the very center of the Kzinti Empire. Soon Chesonians establish colonies on other planets, being able to live among the Kzinti. They benefit from the Alliance with the Kzinti greatly.
~ The first disadvantage of the Alliance shows: within the rows of the Cheso, the UNIKAT establishes, an underground rebel organization, led by a single man unknown, seeking to overthrow the Trinidad governmental regime to establish a dictatorship for more efficient leadership. Many Cheso secretly follow this idea.
~ Strange incidents take place within the rows of the Trinidad, apparently Chesonians are running beserk, killing their own people within certain bases. these incidents weaken the Trinidads military power, yet aid the UNIKAT. The UNIKAT takes over several factories to produce their very own army in secret.
~ The civil war has officially started after a Trinidad attack on a secret UNIKAT factory. New war machines, modified Trinidad wargear, is brought to light by the UNIKAT. Rumours say that there are more, yet unseen battle units that are at an unfinished state of creation yet.
~ Soon after the civil war breaks out all over the Cheso empire, the Kzin decide to take action and start invasions on all Cheso establishments, their intetion is yet unknown, the bloody fight continues, no side giving in.
~ With the aid of the Kzin, more than half the Cheso capitals and factories are taken over by the UNIKAT. The invasion of the Trinidad main establishment begins.
~ Negotiations with the Trinidad fail, ending the government in a bloody massacre. The Chesonian species is cut down dramatically, the news about the fall of the Trinidad spread. Many effords to establish the new government are made, the reign of the UNIKAT has begun. The UNIKAT promises to ensure the establishment of more hostpitals and educational facilities, such as schools and universities.
