We the people of the defined union of the Grinkles in order to keep our unity promote the following items: the welfare of the common people, provide justice, and keep the peace of our country,. The Grinkles here by establish this constitution of our country to secure the liberties and blessings.
1. Every citizen of the Grinkles is allowed to speak and
express their mind. Grinkles are allowed to assemble peacefully and
are able to make changes to the government. Also, the government
will not prohibit religion and the Grinkles government will keep the
church and state separated.
2. Guns will not be allowed for personal use in our country.
Only the police and other services whose job is to protect will be
able to use guns. Special licenses may be obtained for hunting, but
guns will only be used for protection by law enforcement and
hunting.
3. The citizens of the Grinkles will not be submitted to
unreasonable searches of their houses, cars, businesses, etc;
without proper paperwork. But under special circurmstances such as
emergenices, authorities will be able to search.
4. When the people of Grinkles are arrested, they must be told
of their crime and given due process of law. Plus Grinkelians have
the right to not self-incriminate themselves.
5. If Grinkelians are convicted of a crime, they have the right
to a public and speedy trial with a un-biased jury.
6. Grinkelians will be able to take their civil suits to court
where they will have a judge and a jury.
7. There will be no cruel and unusual punishments. The death
penalty is considered a cruel and unusual punishment and will not be
used in the land of the Grinkles.
8. Grinkelians have rights that are also not listed in the Bill
of Rights.
9. States will have the certain powers delegated to them that
are also not listed in the Constitution.
