Welcome to Grindleford Primary School. Our website has been created to provide you with practical information about the school and its organisation. Our website is new and growing - there will be lots of interesting information and examples of our work over the coming weeks.
Ours is a small, rural, village school situated on a hilly site overlooking the village of Grindleford in the beautiful Peak District countryside. As part of the local community, we participate in village events whenever possible and use the local environment and expertise to enhance the curriculum. Small class sizes enable us to offer individual and personalised attention to every child in a caring and stimulating environment. There is a family atmosphere where siblings can share the same experience and where there is a strong partnership between parents, pupils, staff and governors who work together with one aim - to provide the very best education possible for each child.
