- -We are a religious community, not a civic one.
- -Activities must enhance our spirituality
- -Activities should include god in them
Starting Next Week (maybe Sunday @ ?3?): New officers will meet with the Big Community
Sheet of all of 2007's activities and calendar passed out.
Sructure of Community discussed:
- Youth is one Big group that does individual activities, but is still connected to the rest of the community.
- Youth helps out with physical appearances such as, decoration of church activities. (ex. Simbang Gabi)
- Youth is also including in all fund-raising
(All Money will be recieved from the Commuity's money)
- We currently have somewhere around $2000+, but we (maybe) need around $7000
- We just need enough money to get what we want done.
There are still very many filipinos that are not registered with us yet, so in 2 weeks:
- On a Sunday we will be covering 3 different parishes
- Booths will be set up in front of the parishes
- Our first assignment is to set up a collage to put on that booth.
Executive officers and youth president (AC Garcia) will be included in the Worship/Education unit.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING
- Need to update data base 1st.
- learn to invite filipino youths who are not a part of us yet.
Secretary, PRO, and Sargeant of Arms are included in the Secretarian Committee
- These positions will be helping with getting the word out on upcoming activities.
Treasurer always present in Budget committee and fund-raising meetings.
Goals are set up for every quarter
Rules/Acts need to be set-up
- so new following officers won't be lost
Officers, once selected:
- only serve 2 years of terms, so there will be improvement every year
General Assembly Meeting renamed as ~Leaders (Assembly) Meeting~
- there are 4 meeting every year
- one every quarter
Jan-Mar is the 1st Quarter
Apr-June is the 2nd Quarter
July-Sept is the 3rd Quarter
Oct-Dec is the 4th Quarter
*November 17* - Recollection for Officers/Leaders @ St. Bridget.
Every activity must be checked and go through Fr. Ariel first.
Youth cannot hold any activity without Parent Supervision.
