GRFACC Youth Goals

GRFACC Youth Goals:

GRFACC uses an organized structure based on a very successful non-profit organization, SIFE. The system is very flexible to the need and concerns of the officers, members, parents, and the community.

Through the guidance of parent advisors and leadership of youth officers, GRFACC Youth members are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach GRFACC’s four main criteria based on the mission statement:

·         Sustainability Projects – Continuous improvement, fund-raising, and communication improvement

·         Community Building Projects – Youth-approved activities such as sports and recreational activities

·         Productivity Activities – Parent-approved activities that helps the spiritual, mental, and physical development of its audience

·         Community Service Projects – Volunteer service sanctioned and approved by GRFACC that helps the development of its local community

Officers serve as representatives of the organization who have specific duties to aid project managers in the successful completion of their task. Each and every member of GRFACC, not only the officers, is challenged to develop and implement projects in their own ways with the assistance of other members to fulfill GRFACC’s goals.

Positive reinforcement is applied through the recognition of the efforts, successful implementation, and accomplishment of projects. Achievements and awards approved by the youth president and the parent advisors will be given to worthy individuals during one of the Filipino-American’s biggest events – “Simbang Gabi”.

To foster community-building, each member are allowed to sponsor individuals or groups outside the organization to participate in the successful implementation and completion of projects. The donor is responsible for the conduct of the sponsored individual or group but will also be credited for the sponsor’s contributions.

Every project will be dedicated to the Greater Glory of God.
