My mom makes sure we play everyday. When I first got to my new home, she would give me a ride on her hand to take me through the house to see everything. I enjoyed my morning walks by asking "wanna come out?" My mom would walk around and act like I'm zooming through the house and say "Super Birdie!!" Well, I liked being called that so much, I just HAD to say it!!

I just LOVE to play new games!! I learn so fast, it makes my mom's head spin, lol!!

Lets see:  My game my mama & I are so proud of is counting!! She has taught me to count to 5. I first started saying 1,4,5, then 1,3,4,5, then one day I finially said it, "1,2,3,4,5" Mama was SO proud of me!!

I can bounce up n down while saying "boing, boing, boing"

I LOVE to do my daily excersizes w/my mom. She calls it the birdie Fonda's. I will tell her "up" then reach my head way up, then tell her "down" and lower my head down. We do this alot, "up" "down" "up" "down". If I'm just hanging out on my playtop & mom comes in, I'll remind her that I love to play this game & it gets her goin again, lol.

I also like to play Peek-a-boo w/her when she peeks her head in to check on me, if she happens to be in the other  room.

My new game is swinging on my mom's hand. She'll hold me up half way, then swing me back and forth. I love it so much I say "wheeeeee".

When I play in my cage w/my toys and mom is watching, I love to hear her get me goin even more by her telling me I'm a silly bird and to get that toy. I get more spunky cause she is helping me play. I now say "get it!"

YOU BET I CAN TALK!! I love to talk and talk and talk and talk. My mom loves to hear me, this is her favorite thing about me. I tell her all sorts of stuff to get her attention.

Let's see: I can say "Hey Barb" (that's my mom) or "Mom", "I love you", "How are you?", "pretty girl", "anyone call?", "what are you doin?", "wanna come out?",  "wanna go for a walk?", "wanna peanut?", "bye bye", whistles & call my dog by her name, "awwww, it's ok", "c'mere", "help!", "hello pretty girl", "that's my girl", "hahahahahahahaha",  "wait", "step up", "hi, baby!", "want some?" "mmmmm (munching sounds)", "wanna drink?", "ohhhh, this is very good", rings the phone, beeps like the microwave, make running water sounds, cutting sounds, dishes clanging.

I can also answer questions like: What does a doggie say?  answer "woof woof" or whistle then my dog's name. What does the kitty say? answer "meow" What does the turkey say? answer "gobble gobble" 

I love to whistle too. One is my flock call. I love to hear my mom do that to know that she's still here. It makes me feel better.

10/8 --  Well I've been going through terrible 2's lately so one of the new phrases is "no bite!" "be nice". Mom does try to tell me to be gentle. On the other hand since I've been making up with my mom, and  have been giving kisses to her, I'll say "wanna kiss?" and even make the smooching sounds. I sound so cute doing this, sometimes I get extra!!
