Greyhound Men
After spending 7 season in North Midlands Leagues Greyhound Mens Rfc decided to try there luck in the South West Leagues, joining Gloucester 3. After a succesful 1st season in the league finishing a respectable 4th, Greyhound's 2nd season in Gloucester 3 ended on a high after finishing runners up in the league, gaining promotion to Gloucester 2. This season Greyhound are in for a testing season with some tough games to look forward to, with high hopes of consolodating there position in the league and with some hard work maybe gaining back to back promotions.
We currently run 1 Senior Mens XV side with the hope of Starting a 2nd Mens XV in the near future, we are planning a number of 2nd XV games throughout this season. The men train on tuesday evenings 6.45pm till 9.00pm, new players of any experience are welcome.
Greyhound Ladies
We also have a Senior Ladies XV who play on a Sunday afternoon and train on a Thursday evenings 6.45pm till 8.30pm, new players of all experience are welcome the ladies currently play in the Midlands League.The ladies joined Greyhound Rugby Club from a local rivals Hereford Rfc and have been with us for 6 years enjoying mixed fortunes along the way.The current ladies squad is quite a young team with time on there side the only way is up for this exciting group of young ladies.
Greyhound Juniors
We also run a Junior Tag Coaching on Saturday Mornings 10.30am till 12.00pm so any budding young Rugby players aged 4 -12 are welcome boys and girls.
