Greg was born on January 17th, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was adopted by his wonderful parents Paul and Barbara Guillotte. Later they moved to Plano, Texas where the young Greg began his BMX obsession. Building ramps in the driveway of his parents home, impressing neighbors by doing wheelies up and down the street. Greg loved his bike.
His father was transferred to The Hague, Holland when Greg was ten years old. This is where Greg actually began doing a little bit of BMX racing. However it wasn't exactly what he was looking for. He started learning flatland, and messing around on neighborhood ramps.
Four years later, 1984, Greg and his family moved to London, England. This is where things really started to happen for Greg. He found friends that shared his same interest in riding. Some of his friends such as, Jason Webb, Phil Dolan, Lee Reynolds, Nick Elkan (Howard), would go to Piccadilly Circus in London and do freelance Flatland shows for tourists to get some extra cash. Of course these shows were rather quick considering the local police would run them off once they were spotted. Leicester Square, Hyde park, Romford skate park, Piccadilly, Southsea, Meanwhile and Meanwhile 2, and Latimer Road were local hangouts for the group. Some of the other riders included Lincoln Blacksely, Andy Brown, Mike Canning, and David Beveridge.
Greg also rode with a circus (yes a circus) in England. He and his friend, Mike Canning, joined the circus for a summer and performed a ramp routine each night. Needless to say, this guy has some interesting stories.
Greg moved back to Plano, Texas in 1988 and continued to ride for a while. It was difficult due to a BMX slump which started in 1988 and did not end until the early 90's.
Greg did ride some in the 90's, coming in 3rd at the 2-Hip King of Vert competition held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Finishing only behind Mat Hoffman and Joe Johnson. He also toured the U.S. doing shows in Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, CA, Washington D.C., and Wichita Falls, TX.
Some interesting performances with riding partner Joel Alamo, now a D.J. in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, include a pre-season half-time show for the San Francisco 49'ers and a '89-'90 Pepsi Commercial.
Greg is currently living in Austin, Texas with his wife Joely and two lovely daughters Justice (age 9) and Jaelyn (age 4). Greg still rides at local parks, although no longer professionally.
