"Our country has and is undergoing changes. Changes that most of us do not agree with. These changes are put before us without the peoples vote. This is not acceptable. These pictures are of an event that took place on Sept 12, 2009 in Washington D.C. our capitol. Estimates are that 2.5 million people attended the protest. Did you know of this event? Did you see these pictures in the local news? Probably not to any great extent. Wonder why? I have put them here to be viewed by anyone that cares to. These pictures tell a story about this country, of many citizens who are not happy with the direction that politics are leading this country. View the pictures and use them for "food for thought". When it comes time please go to the voting polls and let our Government know how you feel." To view the original site please go to:
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But it is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room but for one flag, the American flag.....We have room but for one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room but for one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people".

"Perhaps we have forgotten what has been said so many years ago. I do believe that "truer words have never been spoken". If we could convince our political regime to practice this policy we would possibly have a much better country to live in." Greg
