Ships targetted for partnership: NOTE THE VARIOUS CLICKABLE LINKS UNDERLINED
The initial targets are ships listed on the national historic register. So far identified are the Swiftstone, the Massey Shaw, the Steam Tug Portwey, the Kenya Jacaranda and as of Dec.2009 we continue to search. The Massey Shaw is a 1935 fire-tender which was active at Dunkirk. The Kenya Jacaranda is a 1923 Brixham trawler which won the King's Cup in 1935. The "Swiftstone" is a tug which spent 50 years hauling for Cory's.The Steam Tug Portwey is [one of] the last fully-functional steam-driven tugs in existence
