Well, I had just finished the chapter on resin restorations of the anterior teeth,
which include the incisors and the canines, when this image of a saber-tooth with
its nose on Wichita and its saber-tooth canine showing appeared. The chapter was from
Fundamentals of Operative Dentistry by James B. Summit, et. al., which I thought
included some useful material for my research in anti-aging medicine, including typical
wear rates on tooth enamel, the attrition. The attrition frequently kills wild horses,
for instance.

Note the molar with roots in the clouds over the Great Northwest, corresponding to
the "mole" activity drawn in the Midwest scene as Hurricane "Gustav" whirls in to be "goosed off" by the spirit of Wichita. The head with the equation-lakes
in Canada resembles Bob Dylan or Sam Jaffee from an old TV episode of Ben Casey,
or perhaps Sam Jaffee from The Day the Earth Stood Still. Note the brilliant
white teeth appearing below Lake Superior in the head profile's smile. Meanwhile,
a student watches the scene on a TV or Internet screen off the East Coast, the screen
passing through "New Hampshire" as the midwest figure displays a "New Ham" scene. Meanwhile,
here in Wichita, Kansas the rain soaked my shoes. You're a dream twister... The jaw of the Dylan-like head is over the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St.Paul, which is in its 2nd day. I guess this
is pretty well what good old Republican reunions are like in Minneapolis-St.Paul. It's a "pole-lit-i-cal" party.
Music: A Hard Rain's a Gonna Fall by Bob Dylan. And reflect from the mountains so all souls can see it... |

The mouth of the goose is in the vicinity of Alamogordo, New Mexico. By the time Gustav
reached Wichita, Kansas, it had pretty well petered out. Now the head in profile resembles Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, with his Adam's Apple superimposed over Minneapolis-St.Paul, where the Republican National Convention is in its second day. The man with the sword off the East Coast is showing himself in "this gun's for higher" position, representing no doubt the opposing side.
Alternate Music: Jumping Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones. I was born in a cross by Her-Cain... |

Now the tail feathers of the storm reach over Tampa, Florida, while the
heart of Wichita turns black. Eventually the sword-bearing character off the
East Coast threatening to cut the goose of the bird became, in later frames,
a man inside an "at" sign, and the spirit tube behind the rump of Hurricane
Gustav became a puppy dog looking into the "at" sign, as if to ask "Are you
where it's at?" The sword-wielding character probably represents the opposing force, the Democratic
Party, "carving you up, all right".
Music: Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones. |

Note that the 2008 Republican National Convention is where it's at, however, judging
by the elephant trunk coming up in the other direction for the "at"-sign man
like the surge of the spirit of the party for its soul. The Republican National
Convention is being held September 1-4, 2008 in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Now the elephant brandishes his trunk
in front of the opposing force, the Democratic Party with it's encircling "at" spiral anchored in New York, centered on a man in a bowler hat. Note the pointy ears, reminiscent of the long ears of the donkey.
And then Ghost Buster's Bill Murray seemed to tune in briefly...followed by Sigourney Weaver... |
