Pre Nomination (essential) for all rides over the weekend, to allow for adequate vet numbers and as per NSWERA/DPI guidelines.
Each entrant must Pre-nomination with Clare or Tania no later than 3 days prior to the ride ie Wednesday 13th August 2008.
If you fail to nominate by Wednesday for the 10km, 40km or 80km ride, then you may still come to the Tingha to ride, but it will cost you an additional $10 in entry fees.

Each rider must complete the NSWERA Compulsory Pre-nomination Form and Entrant Bio Security Declaration.
This can be done at the Green Valley Tingha Endurance Ride. It will be printed onto the back of your Ride Entry Form.

Ride Base: Green Valley Farm, New Valley Road, is located 10km south-east of Tingha.
Follow the “Green Valley Farm” signs.

There is 1xdouble room; 1x2 single bedroom; 3xSingle bedroom.
Cost is $30 per person per night, which includes access to a lounge room with TV and refreshments(tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, margarine, spreads – electric jug and toaster provided.)
Farrier: Emross Equine Hoof Care. Matt Ross is a farrier. He will be on call throughout the rides on the weekend to replace shoes that are lost on track for a fee of $20.

Facilities at Ride Base: Hot showers, toilets, kiosk opened all weekend, selling hamburgers, hot dogs, hot chips, scones, apple pie, etc.
Come and enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal on Saturday evening. No power or yards available.
Water: Available for both you and your horse.
Directions: Tingha is located 25km south-east of Inverell; 440km south of Brisbane; 100km west of Armidale; 200km north-east of Tamworth (approximately). Inverell is on the Gwydir Highway.

Track: Both the 40km and the 80km ride consist of two legs. The 110km ride consists of three legs. The rides are predominantly through private property, and along bush roads. The country is beautiful and varied from flat to undulating. There is water on track provided by creeks, dams and troughs. Some rocky sections of track, although generally good under foot. Suitable for novice and barefoot horses.
