Greenhithe DA is part of network of self help groups that offers support and information to people with depression who want to combat the isolation which often accompanies the condition. The groups are for people who wish to share their experiences with other people in a similar position. A self-help group, i.e. not a counselling or therapy group.Open to all, i.e. anyone who is affected by depression, whether or not they are receiving professional help or treatment or using professional services. Completely confidential and non-judgmental. Informative and supportive, and anything said at the meeting is not be given as or considered to be advice. |
