Green E Club Float

If you want to work on the Green E Club Float for homecoming then please let me know by Friday Oct. 19, 2007 what days you are able to work on it, the dates that I'm looking at is Thursdays and Fridays afterschool.

Boys and Girls Club

Please make sure that you turn in your membership form for the Boys and Girls club which is free, we need this turned so that George from the Boys and Girls club can help provide snacks and transportation.

Unexcused vs. Excused absences

*I had mentioned before that you will be able to miss 5 meetings, but it has been changed to you can only miss 3 un-excused meetings this month of October since two out of the eleven meetings will be excused (10/04 afterschool and 10/05 afterschool), so that makes it nine meetings you are asked to please attend.

*Please fill out an absence form and put it in the absent box , or e-mail me at greeneclub_cphs@yahoo.com,  we understand that you may be participating in various activites (work, sports, buses, live in L.A) or may not be able to attend all the meetings, yet you desire to remain in the club for that reason the absences will be excused ONLY if you let one of us know or fill out the absence sheet, but if you miss a meeting without notifying us it will be an unexcused absence and three this month (October) will result in the termination of your membership in the club.

Green E Club ID Badge

*If you have a Green E Club Yellow ID Badge, please let me know what buildings you do during reading period.

*Those of you who do not have an ID Badge will be getting it on Oct. 18 at lunch in rm 210.

*For those of you that have an ID Badge DO NOT loose it because you will not get a replacement. NO EXCEPTIONS!

E-mails

If you are in the Green E Club, and have given me an e-mail address, but has not recieved any e-mails, please give me an e-mail that you use often because I communicate a lot through e-mail. If you do not have an e-mail, I strongly suggest you get one, because it will facilate communication between us and it will be useful for school purposes also.

NEW Points System

I wanted to give you all a heads up on the new point system we will be having. The point system consists of points given to members for attending meetings.

1 point will be given for all lunch meetings attended in the month of October.

1.5  points given for the reading period program (only if you sign-in). (Will begin once everyone gets their ID badges on 10/18)

2.5  points for before school meetings

3  points will be awarded to those who attend the meetings afterschool.

There will be other ways to recieve points also, so please come to all the meetings to find out how to get more points.

At the end of each semester points will be tallied up and the top three members with the highest points will recieve a prize. (The prizes are yet to be determined).

1.5 points will be deducted for unexcused absences, so please let one of the officers know when you will be absent or e-mail me.

If any of you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at greeneclub_cphs@yahoo.com
