The Great Mouse Detective (1986) was the first Disney feature film released under the new management of Michael Eisner and his team. The public liked it and it was a surprise hit. These cells are favorites for animation art collectors. The story is taken from the popular book "Basil of Baker Street", but it was renamed for American audiences and became "The Great Mouse Detective."

This Cel depicts a scene with Basil of Baker Street, and Olivia Flaversham.

It is Signed with the Walt Disney Co Seal and And Has the Stamp Of Certification on the Front Right Hand Corner. On the Back is a Card Explaining it's Nature, and that it is an Original Cel Painting Actually used in the production of the animated film, "The Great Mouse Detective".

There are very few of these around, It is a Rare Original Certified Signed Hand Painted Cel Painting. This is the Real Item, not a clone, knock off, or reproduction.

It is Framed in PlastiGlass Just as it originally came to My Wife. My Wife was given this prize for entering and winning a place on the TV Show of the 80's called "Win Lose or Draw". She came in a spot to win this prize, and they sent it to her. That is how we have come to have it. We never displayed it, just put it in a plastic bag, and stored it in our Clean Smoke Free House.
