This site is dedicated to the trip that Matt Snell and Matt Millikin will take over the summer of 2005. "The Matts" are teachers at Herrin Elementary School in Herrin, IL. Mr. Snell is the school's P.E. teacher, while Mr. Millikin is a third grade teacher. Each Matt is a devout St. Louis Cardinals fan. Here we are outside of Busch Stadium. We sat in the Budweiser suite for game 7 of the NLCS last year, and, of course, the Cards won.

However, we both are big baseball fans in general. This trip was a crazy idea that I (Matt Snell) threw out while we were bored and watching movies in mid-December. From there, we started planning exactly where we would go...and when...as the major league baseball schedules were released by each team. The schedules have allowed us to see 13 different teams in their home stadiums over a period of 21 days starting on June 14th in Chicago at a White Sox game and ending on the 4th of July in Yankee Stadium.
Our schedule is hectic, but we do have a 6 night stay in D.C., a 3 night stay in Boston, and a 3 night stay in New York. Needless to say, we are excited. I have attached our schedule, and as you will see... we do not see a Cardinals game at all on our trip. However, we will be seeing many, and Mr. Millikin (or Moono as he may be referred to) has already seen one. Bookmark our site, and check back for more updates as time goes by!
