HOW TO START A ROOTS & SHOOTS GROUP IN YOUR COMMUNITY
1. Let students know that a Roots & Shoots group is being organised. Advertise around your school and community to let people know what it's all about. Find out who is interested in joining your group. There are no requirements on size of R&S groups or ages of thier members.
2. Each group needs an enthusiastic and committed adult or student to serve as coordinator.
3. Join Roots & Shoots by sending the membership form and fee( You can do this on the JGI website link). Start doing at least one ongoing ROOTS & SHOOTS project in each of the three areas of ROOTS & SHOOTS.
