fCroq #3-Winter 2006 Iss. 3 (Winter 2006) A nice sized black and white craft zine photocopied onto blue paper, that is fast becoming a staple for crafters everywhere. There are articles on the Church of Craft, the tv show That’s Clever, podcasting, how to make apple sauce using a hot plate, one woman’s story on getting WIC food supplements, and so on. I think that with time this zine will continue to stand out and grow. I’d love to see it come out more often than four times a year. www.croqzine.com [$4US 60S :30] - Anastacia
Making Soap 2006 I know nothing about soap other than those melt & pour craft kits you can buy at Michaels or Walmart, but this little zine made me want to try my hand. If I wasn’t already surrounded by yarn, I would have bought twelve tons of oil and scents by now! Rebecca carefully explains to you that this is just one beginning step to learning how to make soap, and to check out some books before you try, as soap making can be dangerous. Comes with a free soap sample that smells delicious! www.soapdelicatessen.com [$1 US 6S :15] - Anastacia
Revelling in New York March 2006 Heather and Megan describe this zine as "part guidebook, part storytelling" and that's exactly what it is. They include stories from riding the subway, to the neighborhood they lived in, to free and cheap things in the city they've done. I'm not a city person, but this makes me want to visit all the routes-less-traveled that they've gone on. heather@lettersandsodas.com [$1 US 38S :30] - Anastacia
