- "Knowledge is power, power is pain, pain is life!"- battlecry of the founder

The planet ishtar is a barren rocky world rich in iron. Underneath the bleak above ground is a huge system of tunnels and caverns, were the majority of the population lives.

- Chapter Organization

- Society on Ishtar
Most of the planets population live in the vast underground cavern systems. Though there were a few surface production settlements existing above ground, all of these were moved underground after the attack on the planet by the Imperial fleet, Deathwatch marines, and Adion IV heavy infantry. The native population are a hardworking people who need their trust in someone proven by merit and from their own personal Beliefs. This trait had earned them a untrusting reputation in the rest of the Imperium. There was no religon on Ishtar besides the Imperial cult and a strong sense of honor. The imperial cult vanished with the attack on the planet.
