Registration will open at 9:30. First bike will leave Colboch Harley Davidson from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Groups of 50-60 bikes at a time will leave every 20 to 30 minutes for everyone`s safty. Bikers can travel with the PACK or ride at their own pace. Riders should return to Colboch Harley Davidson by 4:00-4:30pm for prize announcements. Check points close at 3:30 PM. Last Bike out at 12 NOON.

Rain Could be a problem. If weather forecast is for scattered showers OUR PACK WILL STILL RIDE!!! Spinkles or light rain that morning will not stop the ride. If Forecast is for all day down pours we will cancel the ride. NO RAIN DATE WILL BE SET & NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED.
Any points of interests’ stops are personal choice. PAWS & CLAWS & AMVETS RIDERS PACK can be requested to stop at these points of interest but is not required too. Colboch Harley Davidson of Morristown, Grainger County Humane Society & AMVETS RIDERS #7 are not responsible for any damages, accidents, or physical harm of rider, passenger or vehicles that may occur during this event.
Our riders will be playing K-9 Hold `em this year!
K-9 Hold’em
Introduction - K-9 Hold’em has been created for The Grainger County Humane Society to be used as a mobile card game. It is played with a typical 52 card deck and 1 Custom Wild Card. It is designed to provide more ride time, more fun and more participation at the end of the route. Double cards are NOT allowed, Once turned in your hand is final. 3 Judges call is final!
Rules
Pre-Ride - Prior to the start of the run every rider will draw 2 cards. These 2 cards will be used to create the best hand possible.
Checkpoint Clinch Mountain #1 - Every rider on the run will stop and draw a card. This card will be used to create the best hand possible.
Drive-By Checkpoint #2 - Grainger County Humane Society - Every rider on the run will ride/drive by the future site of the Grainger County Humane Society Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic and get a Wild Card to be used to create the best hand possible.
Checkpoint #3 - “Petticoat Junction” - Every rider on the run will stop and draw a card. This card will be used to create the best hand possible.
Checkpoint #4 - New South Credit Union - Every rider on the run will stop and draw a card. This card will be used to create the best hand possible.
End of the run - Colboch Harley-Davidson - Every rider on the run will draw one more card and turn in their poker sheet. (Once turned in your hand is final). OR they have the opportunity to purchase ONE extra card for $3.00 at our EXTRA CARD Table and then turn in their sheet.(Once turned in your hand is final). Each Rider will use his/her six cards, and one Wild Card / purchased EXTRA card to create the best hand possible. DOUBLES are NOT ALLOWED. 3 Judges decision is FINAL
Winning Hand - The cards will speak for themselves. The winning hand will be the hand with the 7 best cards.
Amvets Riders Chapter 7 & Grainger County Humane Society
Standard Operating Procedures
- Safety will always be the Amvets Riders Chapter 7’s & GCHS’s number 1 priority
- All riders will have a proper motorcycle endorsement on their license, registration and motorcycle insurance
- All non-member or visitor riders will be required to sign a liability waiver
- Any rider observing an unsafe act by another rider will report such act to the Leader of the ride, the Road Captain, or an Officer of Amvets Riders Chapter 7.
- Road guards will be appointed and will be used as needed for each ride
- Each Rider will use appropriate hand signals when and only when lead to do so by the Leader of the ride in front of you
- Rider will only change lanes when directed to do so by the Leader of the ride in front of you
- Riders will abide by all state and local laws.
- Riders will abide by all rules and directives of the Leader of the ride, Road Captains and / or Amvets Chapter 7 officers.
- Any rider deemed to be intoxicated will be asked to leave the ride by the Leader of the ride, Road Captain or an Officer of Amvets Riders Chapter 7
- Any rider committing an unsafe act while riding may be expelled from the ride by the Ride Leader, Road Captain or an Officer of Amvets Riders Chapter 7
- Riders will make sure prior to each ride that their motorcycle has safe equipment, IE., tires, brakes, enough oil, full tank of fuel at the beginning of the ride, etc.
- There will be a flag truck in front and behind each ride as directed by the Ride Leader
- Riders and passengers will wear proper riding gear while riding with Amvets Riders Chapter 7
- If Amvets Riders Chapter 7 is hosting a ride, all Chapter 7 members will ride in the front portion of the pack, followed by co-sponsoring organizations, then other organizations, then the general public riders followed by a Tailgunner which will be a member of Amvets Riders Chapter 7.
- This S.O.P. is subject to change if the Amvets Riders officers deem it necessary to change do to a Safety issue.

-Prize drawings #1 #2 #3 -$1.00 a ticket each. Anyone can enter prize drawings. Prize drawings valued at $100.00 each Please put name and telephone number on tickets before placing them in the jar. "K9 Hold Em" card is included with each registration. Only bikes and their passengers on the ride can enter K9 Hold Um Poker Run.

Prize drawings and "K9 Hold Em" hand winners will be announced 5:00p.m. Winners of prizes DO NOT have to be present to win! You must collect your prizes by the end of rally or on September 19th 2009 at Colboch Harley Davidson during business hours. NO RAIN DATE WILL BE SET & NO REFUNDS PROVIDED
