Full Regimental Dress

This is the Full Dress Uniform, and as you can see, it is quite regal. This is what most people imagine when they picture a bagpiper.

Because of increasing expense and a lot of necessary upkeep, most pipers don't wear the Full Dress Uniform anymore. I am one of the few pipers in the area who still maintains and wears the Full Dress.

This order of dress consists of the kilt, a red military doublet with Pipe Major's stripes (I am a retired Pipe Major), a plaid, feather bonnet, horse hair sporran, crossbelt, and spats.

This uniform can be hot to wear, and there is a significant cost to it, but I do not charge clients extra if they wish me to wear this order of dress to their event.

Number 1 Dress

A regular Glengarry hat replaces the feather bonnet for this order of dress.

Number 2 Dress

This order of dress can be worn for any occasion. If you feel that Full or #1 Dress would be too much for your occasion, then #2 Dress may be a better choice for you.

One might call this uniform a "stripped down version." The kilt is worn with a white uniform shirt, black tie, and a piper's jacket. The glengarry is worn on the head.

Number 2 Dress - Winter

A military sweater replaces the jacket when playing in cool outdoor weather.

Summer Dress

The uniform is worn without the jacket and the collar of the shirt is open. This order of dress is for very informal occasions.
