2006-07 Goals and Priorities

The following goals and priorities have been adopted by the membership and will determine the use of PTA funds and activities:

1. Organizing and funding educational before-school, lunchtime, and after-school activities in areas such as math, science, art, reading, and music.
2. Engage teachers and larger number of parents in PTA program planning and decision making.
3. Increasing parent awareness in the areas of internet safety, nutrition, parental involvement, and other parenting issues.
4. Leadership training for present and potential PTA Board members.

Mission Statement

	Support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies.
	Assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.
	Encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this community, state and nation.
