Gozo is a small island, just north of Malta. It's quiet and rural, but has culture by the bucket-load.

Gozo is a very Catholic country, so nearly every one goes to church and because of this every year there is a large festival in the capital, Victoria. The festival commemorates the day that the Virgin Mary was told she was going to give birth to the Messiah. The whole of Gozo flocks to Victoria to celebrate, and they really know how to party! 

The sea is amazing! It's like a giant swimming pool. it has some of the best underwater visibility, which can get up to 50m which makes it a great country for snorkeling and scuba diving. The sea life is absolutely incredible. Fishes of all varieties, shapes and colors, in packs of hundreds and thousands! There's also octopi, barracuda's  and much, much more...
