Underlying Theme

What you may not know about the Texas War of Independence is that it contains an underlying theme. The underlying theme of the Texas war is that’s sometimes the pet (Texas) does indeed bite from the hand (Mexico) that feeds it. For example, although Mexico had basically started Texas out and helped it grow, Texas was unhappy because they felt the loss of power after Santa Anna became a dictator. So what did Texas do? They bit from the hand that fed them. Mexico sent troops to Texas to crush the rebellion, but Texas was too strong. This led into a war known as the Texas War, where Texas tried to win independence. The thewar progressed further with the battle of Alamo, where Mexico found Texan troops inside a mission named which the battle was named after. Although the Texans, lost this battle, it gave them more much needed time to prepare even further. Soon, the battle of San Jacinto popped up, and with leader Sam Houston, Texas defeated Mexico, and finally had their independence recognized.
In conclusion, even though the “owner” may take care of his “pets,” it is just a reality that they will be unhappy and will want more, no matter the situation. Sometimes, it is possible for the owner to lose control, as Mexico had lost control of Texas. Let this be a lesson to some owners: Sometimes the pet does indeed bite.
