I was born in Coventry England, and I have always been keen on art but was never encouraged to persue this interest so from when I left school until about 2000 I never did much art work at all. Then I saw Bob Ross " The Joy of Painting" on the tv and it inspired me to try painting again, so I started painting landscapes but I was never any good at it and I wanted to paint wildlife anyway.
I went to a local artist who started me off on the road to paint wildlife which I did for a couple of years. In 2005 my father died and this got me to pick up a pencil and draw a portrait of him for the rest of my family, it was then that I dicovered I prefer the pencil to the paintbrush and I have not stopped drawing since.
the place I have learned the most off in my drawing is a site called "Wet Canvas" which I recommend to any artist of any skill to take a look at, they have helped me improve on my drawing and I have made many freinds there .
