I've always had a passion for art and really started getting hooked on creating in 2006 while I was pregnant with my third child. I think she must have somehow had a creative influence on me
Or else she also wants to be a budding artist and needed to make sure I'd have plenty of painting supplies in the house for her
Since having my second child I became a stay at home mum. I've worked for many years as a veterinarian and hence my passion for animal art. I just love capturing that innocence that animals exude. I also like to add a bit of light-hearted fun and humour into a lot of my works.
My main passion is miniature artworks but I have been venturing into larger format works this year.
I donate 10% of what I make from my art to local "no-kill" dog and cat shelter. I find it very important to still be able to help animals even though I'm not currently working as a vet. If you'd like to read more about the shelter I support you can find a link in the "News and Links" section.
I am a proud member of the Animal Loving Artists group on ebay. They are a fantastic bunch of artists and we give each other a tremendous amount of encouragement and support.
