A Return by Goldust027

                                                                           The 2005 Royal Rumble

     Dustin Runnels had just arrived to his own home town of California for the 2005 Royal Rumble. It was here that he would be making his Hollywood-style return to the WWE. In the past, he had videos played on RAW stating that the Golden One would be returning at the 2005 Royal Rumble. The fans were always going wild when the videos had played in the arena. Dustin walked through the main doors of the arena with his wretling bag on his shoulder. He said to himself, " Tonight will be the biggest Hollywood show the WWE has ever seen." Dustin knew that he would be a fan favorite tonight. The 2005 Royal Rumble would be a night that he would never forget....

     In the backstage area of the arena, Dustin had ran into superstars like Shawn Michaels, Kane, Booker T, and John Cena. All of these superstars wished him good luck, and Dustin knew that he would need it. In the mean time, Dustin looked at his dressing room key and saw that he would be using room #30. Dustin thought that maybee this room number was going to be lucky tonight. Outside his dressing room, Dustin bumped into Eric Bischoff in the back. Bischoff said to Dustin, "Tonight you make your return to the WWE. Make me and the WWE fans proud. You may never get a chance like this again. The fans are counting on you." "I'll try my best", said Dustin. Bischoff then told Dustin that it was 8.30 pm and to go to his office at 9.00 pm to draw his number for the Rumble match. Dustin then went to his dresing room and remembered the last time that he was in a WWE dressing room. He loved the WWE, and he would try his best that night....

     At 9.00 pm, Dustin reported to Bischoffs office with the other superstars to draw his number. Cena drew his number as did Kane, Rob Van Dam, and his former partner Booker T. Another 26 superstars left the locker room after drawing their numbers. He would be last to draw. Bischoff wished him good luck, and Dustin grabbed the last ball with a number in it and left the office. He went back to his dressing room, sat down, and opened the ball with the folded paper in it. He slowly unfolded the paper. To his delight, Dustin saw a big black #30 on the paper. Goldust was ready for this match, he had the best draw, and nothing would stop him from fulfilling his dream of winning the Royal Rumble match...

     At 9.45 pm, a voice over the loud speaker rang through the backstage hallways and dressing rooms. The voice said that the Royal Rumble match would begin in 15 minutes. Dustin then opened up his bag, pulled out his black and gold suit, removed his clothes, and put it on. Then, he went in his bag and retrieved his face paint. He walked up to the mirror and put on his paint. Then, he went to the backstage area behind the entrance stage with the 29 other superstars. Then, in the arena, he heard Howard Finkel announce that it was now time for the Royal Rumble match... 

     Then, Kane went through the curtain as #1, and Christian as #2. Then out went Ric Flair, Mark Jindrak, The Hurricane, Matt Hardy, and John Cena. Goldust was ready for this match. He knew that he would go in there at #30. He would try his best. Some of the superstars went to the ring, and others came back after being eliminated. Just then #29, Chris Jericho went to the ring. In Just two minutes, the fans would be going wild. Then, he heard the fans counting down from 10, to 5, to 1. Then the buzzer went of for #30. Then, Golduts's music hit. The crowd was on their feet cheering. Then, Dustin walked throught the curtain. The crowd went even more wild for the Golden One... 

     As he walked to the ring, Dustin saw that Chris Jericho, Ric, Flair, John Cena, Kane, and Batista were still in the ring. Dustin got in the ring and went to work on Batista delivering a puch to the face, and a DDT. He clotheslined Batista over the top rope. Then he was hit from behind by Ric Flair. The crowd was chanting for Cena and Goldust. Then, Cena attacked Flair. Goldust and Cena lifted Flair over the top to the floor. Goldust then realized that he was dominating the Rumble match. He knew that he still had to eliminate Cena, Kane, and Jericho. Goldust turned around and saw Jericho charging at him...

     Then, Goldust ducked a clothesline. Jericho slipped and went over the top rope to the floor below. Kane and Cena then charged for Goldust. Cena hit a DDT, and Kane with a diving Clothesline. Goldust had to get to his feet. He tried, but couldn't. Cena continued to pound on Goldust. Kane then went for Goldust. Cena grabbed Goldust in a tieup from behind. Kane ran at Goldust trying for a double-team move. Goldust fought free from Cena and ducked. Kane's momentum sent Cena over the top. The crowd continued to chant for Goldust. Then Kane put Goldust on the ropes and went to clothesline him over the top rope. Goldust lifted his foot right in Kane's face as Kane was about to connect with the clothesline. Then, Kane ran at Goldust. Goldust got down on his knees causing Kane's shot to miss. Goldust got up and gave cane his signature Curtain Call and threw Kane over the tope rope. The crowd went so wild that Goldust thought he would go deaf. Goldust had accomplished his dream and ended Kane's. Goldust then celebrated with the crowd before heading backstage. On the way up the ramp, Dustin knew that he now had a title shot at Wrestlemania XXI...

                                                                                 Before Wrestlemania XXI

     Before Wrestlemania XXI, there had been matches involving Goldust, Chris Benoit, Triple H, and Randy Orton. They were mainly tag team matches. Tonight was the final RAW before Wrestlemania XXI. In the opening event, the World's Heavyweight Champion came to the ring. This was the best wrestler currently in the world. He was Triple H. Triple H said that no one could stop him from retaining his title. Then, the fans continued to boo Triple H. Before Triple H could say another word, Goldust's music hit, the crowd ran wild, and Goldust showed up on the entrance ramp. Then, Dustin said, "There is one man who can stop you. The man whose name you will nevor forget, Goldust." Then, the crowed cheared as Dustin left the ramp for the backstage area...

     Dustin then spent the last week going throught his wrestling gear and training for his match with Triple H. He made shure that he was ready and that he had all his gear. He was always conentrating on his match. Wrestlemania XXI would be the biggest match in his career. At the grandest stage of them all, Dustin would have a World Heavyweight Championship match against Triple H. Then, Dustin remembered that he had lost to Triple H at Wrestlemania XIII, the 1997 Royal Rumble, and an earlier episode of RAW in 2003. But this time would be different...

                                                                                  Wrestlemania XXI

     Dustin arrived at the arena for Wrestlemania XX. He was so happy that he won the Royal Rumble match. Dustin soon went to his dressing romm. This time, it was #27. He changed into his suit. The main event would begin in about a half hour. So, Dustin put on his paint, his wig, and his robe. Then, he remembered his first wrestlemania. It was Wrestlemania XII. He had a back lot brawl match with Roddy Piper. Then, he heard Howard Finkel anounce that the following match was for the World's Heavyweight Championship. Goldust had to hurry. As soon as he got to the enrance stage, he saw Triple H going out to the arena. Then, his music hit, the crowd went wild, and he entered the arena. Dustin never felt this good in his life. He was at Wrestlemania XXI. He entered the ring, took of his wig, and removed his robe. The bell sounded to begin the match...

     Goldust ran at Triple H with a clothesline and then a suplex. He picked Triple H up off of the mat. Just then, Triple H thrusted his knee into Goldust's gut. Triple H went for a DDT, but Goldust countered into an inverted atomic drop followed by a clothesline. Goldust tried to lock Triple H in a sharpshooter, but Triple H broke the hold. He got up and nailed Goldust with a knee to the face. Triple H went for the Pedigree, but Goldust grabbed his legs, tripped him, a sent him over the top to the outside. Goldust followed and threw Triple H back in side. Goldust then hit the Curtain Call. The crowd wes on their feet. Then, Goldust turned and saw Ric Flair and Batista comming to the ring. This was bad news. Goldust went for the cover, but Flair distracted the referee. Goldust hit flair in the face. Flair still wouldn't get off of the apron. While the ref was detained, Goldust turned around and saw Batista runing at him. Goldust moved out of the way senting Batista over the top into Ric Flair. Triple H went for anothe Pedigree. Goldust countered with his signature Curtain Call and went for the cover. The referee counted 1...2...3. The crowed was screaming for Goldust. Goldust now had all the gold, and he waas the World Heavyweight Champion...
