Windows 7 (RC) My Review (Updated 7th of May 2009) I have been testing the new Windows 7 (RC) version and it is mostly the same as Windows 7 (Build 7000) but with a fresher look on the Operating System. As I was installing it , it was very easy to install I insterted the Windows Installation disk which you can download the installation from Microsoft Windows 7 site at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ it went through a number of steps from Installing the Windows 7 (RC) files to installing the features that comes with this version. You are also asked to enter the CD-Key that comes with the installation when you download it from the offical website. On my computer was quite fast at installing the version with no errors that I could see (which I imagined they would have cleared up most of them by now on the RC). At the end of the installation I was asked to enter my username and password and a hint which you can change later in the control pannel if you want to and then it did couple of tests on my Video card to rate its performance , after it compeleted the installation , it came to the welcome page and they was a nice touch of a flower there which I thought was quite nice and it makes the welcome screen look friendly too. 26th of June - Microsoft has just released the prices for the different editions of Windows 7 that they are going to be selling ranging from £79.99 for the Home Premium edition and £229.99 for the Ulimate edition.
