God has so blessed those of us who live in America, the greatest country in the world. But how long is He going to be patient with us? Is He beginning to show His displeasure by the many tragic events He has allowed to come about in our country and throughout the world? There has never been a time in our lifetime when so many people have suffered loss of home, possessions and even life itself, Through television, we know in minutes what is happening all over the world. These pandemic disasters keep us glued to the television. But, what do most people think when they watch these devastating, occurrences? Do we give God a thought and wonder why He allows this catastrophic destruction? He has given us many wake up calls. When will we listen? In Old Testament times, "God sent His prophet, Hosea to warn His people Israel. Though they were God's chosen people, the nation was in a sad state of spiritual and moral decline For years they had enjoyed God's blessings - material bounty, military strength, peaceful relations with neighboring nations - yet they still turned away from Him. They stopped viewing God as the source of their blessings and chose instead to credit themselves. They put off worshiping God. They ceased loving Him. They replaced Him with idols, worldly pursuits, and earthly wealth." (From - Seeking Him by Nancy Leigh Demoss and Tim Grissom ) Does this describe our beloved America?

"Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, Because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men." ~ Hosea 10:12-13, ~
