   What is a Goldendoodle?     F1 Goldendoodles are a cross between a pure-bred Golden Retriever and a pure-bred Standard Poodle.  Goldendoodles are a hybrid dog. Meaning they are a first generation cross, and as such they exhibit "hybrid vigour".  This is a phenomenon in animal breeding meaning that the first cross between two unrelated purebreds will exhibit the highest quality traits from both of their parents.  Typically these dogs are healthier and stonger than their parents.  The hybrid cross are typically non-shedding, hypo-allergenic, intelligent, and very loyal family friendly dogs.

Golden Retreivers are excellent at hunting, retrieving, and are one of the most common breeds today.  The Standard Poodle is rated as one of the most intelligent dogs, and they are hypo-allergenic and non-shedding. The Standard Poodle was orginated in Germany and France, as a gun dog and a retriever of waterfowl.  Both Poodles and Golden Retrievers have a very high and easy trainability. The combination of these two breeds, along with high-quality bloodlines, gives you the perfect dog a "Goldendoodle".  With all of these excellent traits Goldendoodles are being used for guide dogs and companion dogs. 

Who are we?

We are not a kennel, but a family dedicated to breeding the highest quality dog.  We feel that the Goldendoodle is the "perfect dog".  We breed our Goldendoodles from very high quality parents.  Our dogs are AKC registered.  We searched a long time to find the right breeding stock with champion bloodlines.  Our dogs are our family pets and we will only breed them once per year.  We love our pets and treat them just like a part of the family.  Our dogs are house dogs, and we are very hands-on with all of them, including the puppies right from birth.  We ensure that our puppies are very well socialized by raising them in our home.  We give them tons of love and attention.  We love all our dogs and hope that you will too! We are located in Mount Horeb, WI.  Mount Horeb is a suburb of Madison, WI.  We breed and raise our dogs in our own home.
