Garden Oaks Home School Support Group

Thank you for your interest in the Garden Oaks Home School Support Group (GOHSSG). It is our desire to support all families in their home schooling endeavors. We are a Christian group, with our leadership professing Jesus as their Savior. We welcome all people, including those with different religious beliefs, families considering home schooling, new home schoolers, and home school veterans as well. This site provides general information about our group. This is an information site only, to join our group, you must contact leadership to be added to our password protected site.

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month July through May from 7 - 9 PM. Our first meeting, which will be our Open House is July 24, 2007 from 6 - 10 PM at Garden Oaks Baptist Church. The church is located on North Shepherd and W. 34th St., north of the 610 North Loop. Because we are centrally located, we have members from all over the greater Houston area.

Here is a list of a few of the things GOHSSG provides: Private Website, Field Trips, Co-Op, Special Events, Holiday Parties, Classes, Award Presentations, Coffee Clubs, Park Days, Talent Shows, Bible Study and Monthly Meetings.
