GOFFMAN 'NOT DEAD' SHOCKER

AP - Rumors of the demise of pop-jock-scratch-rock combo Goffman have been scotched this afternoon with the startling news that they are to play a set in home metropolis Portsmouth, England, within the next month. Manager Mick Friendly told an AP reporter: "The boys have spent the last year in bed, dozing like drugged children. But the Rice Crispies have run out and frankly it's all hands to the pumps from now on. We need to show the world that Goffman, if consumed responsibly and within government guidelines, can still be enjoyed. We suggest people come along to LITTLE JOHNNY RUSSELL'S ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 16TH to find out where their limit is: maybe a whole set and encore, perhaps just a few chords to rinse and spit out.
