Godzilla Directed by Dean Devlin and Roland emmerich Made in 1998

An attomic bomb is dropped on a french island inhabbited by millions of iguanas and other lizards. The bomb creates a powerful explosion. All life dies, except for one egg. The egg just recently layed by a now dead mutant iguana. Years later, a japanese fishing boat is attacked by an enourmus thing on the radar. Appearing to have sharp claws. The only survivor of the attack was the ship's cook. The boat, clawed into by the creature washed up on a beach in Panama. Dr. Nick tatopoulus was re-assigned by the military to investigate sightings of giant foot prints and the old ship's remains at the destroyed village on the beach. Nick is stunned at the sight of the creature's footprints. Phillippe Roche and his assistant entered a building. With a video camera in his partner's hand, he walked towards a bed with the ship's cook in it. "Gojira!" he shouted.
