When we try everything else, we call on God. Many times when we go through trials and tribulation in this life, it is often self inflicted, RE; it may have started out as a little thing, however after we tried everything we knew and sought the advice of everyone else, it had litterally grown from a Molehill, into a Mountain! When we learn to take the Little things to God in Prayer First, There's a very good chance, they will Not become Mountains.
The Holy Bible tells us to Pray in this manner:
Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtor's. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thou art the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever. AMEN.
When we recognize that our Fathers which is in Heaven, created our earthly Father's, we will begin to understand who the eternal Father is. Our earthly Fathers pass away, our Heavenly Father is forever, therefore while our earthly Fathers can supply our needs for a time, it is our Heavenly Father who will fill our needs according to His riches in heaven, by Christ Jesus, while we reside here on His Earth and throughout eternity, IF, We choose to accept His Only Begotten Son as our Personal Saviour.
Further, If we choose to Hallow His Name,(Keep It Holy), we will then do his will, and when we obey Him, He Blesses,(Our Daily Bread), since Blessings always follow obedience. Now what does Forgive us our debts mean? When we are obedient to God, not only will he supply all of our needs, as stated in Phillipians: 4. 19, He will even give us the desires of our heart, therefore there is No need for debt in the first place. God will NEVER leads us into temptation and if we choose to walk closely with Him, He will put Spiritual Armour on us which will keep out Evil.
Prior to Praying, I always say the Lord's Prayer, an I believe this truly opens the door to God's heart and they rest of what I have to say to Him, gets heard. When we recognize that God is the Kingdom, The Power and The Glory, we will always go to him first and get the problem taken care of by the only one that can.
In WWII, a young soldier from Oklahoma was with a group that had landed on a beach where the enemy controlled the Island, and had his company pinned down with machine gun fire. His commander said that he would not order anyone to go up and try to take their machine gun nest's out, however if anyone wanted to volunteer, they could. This young soldier said that he would go, but he wanted to wait until it was 8:00 O,clock PM Oklahoma time. When it was time, he went up and took our all the enemies with hand grenades, and upon rejoining his company, he was asked by his commander why he had to go at that specific time? He replied: "That's when I know my mother will be on her knees praying for me"!
If there has ever been a time that we all to get on our needs and ask Almighty God to have mercy on America, it is Now. Have you prayed Today. After the tragedies of September 11, 2oo1, America went upon it's knees. Unfortunately all that soon passed. It's time to do it again, for the sake of our nation.
