HISTORY

This ministry is founded by DR.THOMAS MATHEW a medical doctor, in 1995, soon after his salvation, with a vision of reaching the lost souls.

He is a born-again Christian got baptized with HOLYSPIRIT in 1996. He is working as the ADMINISTRATIVE MEDICAL OFFICER of a multispecialty hospital in INDIA. His wife JESSY MATHEW is engaged in gospel works among women. Praise & worship is the main attraction of this ministry. During worship many submit their lives to JESUS. Healing & deliverance service is conducted regularly. He is the DIRECTOR of this ministry. Local councils are formed for the smooth running of the prayer cells

Mr. M.C. ABRAHAM, a senior leader of the ministry is the PATRON and controls the day to day affairs.

MISSION STATEMENT

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS …

The inspired word of god (2 tim. 3:16-17; 1 pet. 1:25 & ps. 119:89) the revealed word of god (2 pet. 1:19-21) and god’s powerful and active word (heb. 4:12) god’s unchanging word (heb. 13:8; is. 40:8)

THERE IS ONE TRUE GOD IN 3 PERSONS

THE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT…

Three Persons exist co-equally (Matt. 28:19; Gen 1:26; Heb 1:3-8) Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, born of a virgin, led a sinless life, performed miracles, and provided salvation and healing for all mankind. (Is. 9:6; John 1:1, 14; Matt. 1:23; 1 Pet. 2:21-24; Acts 2:22; Rom. 10:8-10; Ps. 103:3)

SALVATION…

Man was created in God’s image. By voluntary transgression, he fell, and his only hope of redemption is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Gen. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21)
Salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. (Rom. 10:9-10; Eph. 2:8)

Salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our human works. However, our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity. (Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; James 2:18)

WATER BAPTISM

Water baptism is a declaration to the world that the believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4)

THE LORD’S SUPPER is a memorial of the death, resurrection and soon coming of our Lord, and a remembrance of the sacred covenant between Jesus and us. (Luke 22:13-20; 1 Cor. 11:24-30)

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT…

All believers are entitled to, should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for victorious life and service, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Luke 24:49; Act 1:4-8; 2:38-39; 10:44-45; 11:15-16). The evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 2:4; 19:2-6).

THERE IS A GOOD GOD AND A BAD DEVIL…

Jesus heals, the devil oppresses. (Acts 10:38)God doesn’t cause or cooperate with the devil to allow sickness or injury to come upon people. The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy…Only good gifts come from God. (1 John 3:8; Luke 9:56; John 10:10; 1 Pet. 5:8; 1 John 4:8)

HEALING IS PART OF OUR REDEMPTION…

Healing is God’s will. (Gal. 3:13-14, 29; Is. 53:4-5; 1 Pet 2:24; Ps. 91:10, 103:2-3; Matt. 8:2-3; Jas. 5:14-15; 3 John:2)

AS BELIEVERS, WE ARE CALLED A RIGHTEOUS PRIESTHOOD UNTO GOD…

We have right standing with God through Jesus Christ. It is a free gift of grace. (2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 8:1, 30, 33-34, & 10:4)

We have access to the throne of God by the Spirit and may approach Him directly. (Eph. 2:18, 3:12; Heb. 10:19-22; 1 Pet 2:9)

OUR VISION

Most of the people groups still unreached by the gospel live in places stretching across the maps of northern Africa and Asia. Christian mission’s strategist Luis bush started calling this rectangular area or band: "the 10/40 window." he used that easy-to-remember name because it describes that area of Africa and Asia from 10 degrees north of the equator to 40 degrees latitude north of the equator.

2/3 of the unreached population live in this area

86% of severe persecution occurs in this area

97% of the unreached people live in the 10/40 window

Only 5% missions goes to countries in the 10/40 window

India is located in the Asian sub-continent in the 10/40 window whereChristians are minority (<2%). Idols are the main means for worship. We need to show the love of Jesus through our work

"To reach the unreached" is the motto of SOS Mission International intl. As you know SOS mission international is involved in reaching the unreached at any cost. Souls! Souls!

Jesus is coming soon! Be prepared! During these years you and i have the incredible opportunity to go to places and tell them that Christ Jesus still saves the lost, still heals the sick, still delivers the oppressed and still rescues the perishing.
