There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.

This dark grey vest is cut without a military collar. The wool front and brown twill back will blend in well for the soldier who likes to wear his white shirt and cravat. It is also suitable to wear with civilian trousers when you do not want military clothing. If you wish to have a military and civil vest and do not have both, this is two in one. For those you who would rather eat mice than wear something which might contain a synthetic thread…I am not certain what the material content is in the background behind the velvet embossing. This cloth was bought long ago and the ticket only says “velvet.”

A size 50 and 40 are now available. It is lined in cotton, though not the organic cotton of size 46.
