Creating a New Glomp Team
Ranks
All Glomp Teams will have ranks, the top rank will be Captain who is the Glomp Team leader and creator.
The basic ranks are as follows (from highest to lowest):
Captain ~ Rank cannot be altered
Lieutenant
Deputy
Soldier~ Rank cannot be altered
While forming your own team you can add more ranks to suite your specific needs or change some of the rank names (not necessarily the rank order), but as a rule the rank Captain and Soldier must stay the same in all Glomp Teams. By saying this I mean, the rank name for both must stay the same and rank order for Captain MUST stay the same.
But please, feel free to create your own ranks - just make sure you can define them.

Captains
In order to be a captain you must have these qualifications:
1 ~ At least 18 years of age
2 ~ Able to organize and lead by one's self
3 ~ Regularly (or starting to) attending an Anime Convention as the location of your Glomp Team
A Glomp Team is directly associated to one convention per state; ex: ACen GT is located in Anime Central which is in Rosemont, Illinois ... but the members for this team may live hours or even a state or two away
4 ~ Must be able to make decisions for your area GT based on what is best for your GT
5 ~ Can report regularly to me about goings on of our GT

MeetUps
You can choose to have meetups before and after a con but you MUST have a Glomp Team meetup at your chosen Anime Convention.
Anime Con meetups can be however you like: Have a party, casual meetup, meet up and have dinner ... it's up to you and your memebers! Just be sure to follow your chosen Con's rules.
Members
The members make up the team, you must remember that :)
Anyone can sign up to be a Glomp Team member as long as they are also part of the chosen convention.
Glomping Priveleges
Every rank has some sort of privelege in the team ... wheather that is to initiate new members or just to go find people that want to join ... it is up to you to decide.

Glomping
Glomping is ment to be a fun activity, not anything violent. Please stress to your members that you do not have to glomp in order to be in the glomp team ... just watch out lol. Glomping can range from just a gentle hug to a full on takedown ... within safty standards.
Glomp Team Website
Of course we all need websites to see how everyone is doing and what is going on! ^_^
Website
It is up to the Captain to organize your own site for your GT location. The captain may pick someone to take care of the responsibility of updating and creating but the Captain must oversee and make sure everything is appropriate and as up to date as possible.
Must Haves in Website
The listed items MUST be on your glomp site. You may add any other pages but make sure you keep the listed as a basis.
Main Glomp Team Logo - The main GT logo must be on your front page (however big or small you wish).
Glomp Team Logo - Your own GT logo must be on your website as well.
Updates - Some sort of update page where everyone who views it will know what's going on with the team
Member List - A page where all members are listed according to Rank
Contact - A contact page with the captain and/or any other higher rank that needs their contact info. out in the public (ie: website creator, website designer, treasurer, etc.). You may also list my information on the site as well if you wish.
Links - You MUST have a link of somesort to this main Glomp Team website.
Glomp Team Swag
Currently, one GT has swag: ACen GT. So we need to get the word around, what do you think?
Logo
You may make Glomp Team Swag but you MUST use the Glomp Team logo (which you will create for your own branch of GT). If you create any other glomp type themes, be proud and show it off ^_^
If you create an online store to sell the Swag and/or you already have a personal store ... DO NOT MIX THE TWO. None of the Glomp Team logo items may be sold at your personal store or any other store than an official store in which I approve (at first).
Stores
They make it now adays that anyone can make a type of store online. Most of which you may get profit with. YOU are in charge of if you get profit or not and what happens to it ... Under NO circumstance may profit from selling Glomp Team swag go to the Captain's personal benefit. Whatever you earn in profit must go back to the GT ... in any way you see fit.
Also, when you create a store, you are responsible and liable for any taxes and/or any other legal matters dealing with owning a store.
Images
You will procure an artist for the team and will create your own art. Do not violate copyrights. If you do, I am not responsible for any actions which will be taken against you.
On of your first orders as business will be to create your own Logo for your GT area. Be sure that it is appropriate; no swearing on or representing the logo, no sexually explicit images or content, and no racial or gender discrimination. Remember, this is an all ages type of thing ... even though the con you will representing may not be, but people in the area are allowed to join, no matter age, gender or race.
Merchandise
It is up to you and/or your Glomp Team members to vote and pick what items you wish to put your glomp logo on. You may or may not put your own money to use in helping with merchandise or any other part of the glomp team, that is your choice.
