Glenrowan Fire
Brigade is classed as a category 3 brigade . All members must have
successfully completed the 'Minimun Skills' course in order to get onto the fireground. The C.F.A.
requirement for members' training is the Minimun skills update/refresher held around November each year consisting of 3 to 4 tasks to carry out + Radio/map reading. Members that are able to wear BA must do a brigade training session every 6 Months.
Our brigade holds a training/meeting/catchup on most Sunday mornings from 9.30 to 11.00ish

Our brigade also assists other brigades outside out area
and trains to assist in .. High Voltage Electricity Distribution
centre fires , Wineries and associated buildings , Drage AirWorld and
Museum , Wangaratta Airport and terminal , A.D.I. - ammunition
manufacturing plant, Monsbent - Chipboard & Timber mil |
