Favourite Race – Ben Nevis – apart from not being able to walk the following few days after it.

Favourite Athlete(s) -  Haile Gebreselassie / Jonathan Wyatt 5 times world mountain running champion (should have been 6).

Best Performance(s) – Nothing spectacular but it was in two races where I achieved results beyond my expectations -Getting under 1hour 50minutes at Ben Nevis and finishing 3rd in the 2003 Renfrewshire X-C championships, helping the team to the County title.

Biggest Disappointment – Failing to finish the Devil O’ the Highlands race. I gave up with severe cramp in both legs after 36 miles, 7 miles short of the finish.
