Statement of Faith

Statement:

We believe that the God Who inspired the Scriptures is powerful enough to preserve them in the manner in which He intended us to have them.

We believe in the providential PRESERVATION of the true word of God as well as the providential INSPIRIATION of the word of God.

We believe the King James Bible AV 1611 is the Scriptures (2 Tim 3:16) and we accept it as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe in all of the historical, fundamental doctrines of the Baptist faith in regard to the Virgin Birth, the Deity of Christ, the Vicarious Atonement, the Bodily Resurrection, and the Second Coming of Christ.

We believe in the authority of the Local Church and its separtion from political and state entanglement.  We believe in two ordinances: Baptist and the Lord's Supper; and two offices: Deacon and Elder, the presiding Elder being called a bishop or pastor.

We place great emphesis upon the words of God and of getting the doctrines straight and teaching them in the manner how the word of God presents them.   II Timothy 2:15,  II Timothy 3:16, Ps 12: 6-12
