:DThe count down has started for when we leave for Equitana Four Girls from GGGWA will be competing in the Australian Trick Champs. Our Newest team members Nadine Robinson and Prim Mckellar will be joining Jacinta Maurer and Carly Thomas. At GGGWA we always make goals and strive for these. Our main goal is supporting the Australian Championships, going as a team and having one amazing experience by doing something we love. To be able to set goals with our two newest members and becoming so close now to those goals becoming a reality and being achieved is amazing.
None of this could be done without the team work. Nadine has been amazing by helping Jacinta out everyday with working clients horses so they are ready to go home by the time we all leave. Feeding/washing/packing for shows/unpacking after shows, and everything inbetween. As Prim is based at the moment in NSW, but moving to Western Australia in January, The team are busy also prepping and training her horse. Carly has been busy designing posters, and making awesome hampers to raffle off as every penny helps us girls to travel across this country to get there! Without team work, and the friendships that go with it, none of this could be possible.
While us four Girls will be having a blast, unfortunately we leave our beloved other team members behind. Bec Circosta and Tiana Harrington. Bec is busy with work and a Wedding to attend too. And Miss T has a dance concert. But we know they will still be with us every step of the way.
Heath and Krissy Harris have kindly loaned the team there amazing horse Riley for Nadine to ride. As we can only take 3 horses across, we are so lucky to be able to use one of the Harrises horses. Thank-you so much guys!
Can't believe it's so close now. Only two shows left, then its the long treck across Australia to Melbourne. How I wish I could click my fingers and like magic we are there. Lets hope we have a lot of good tunes for the drive.
Hope to see you all at Harvey Dickson Rodeo this weekend

Apologies for not updating this blog. GGGWA have been quite busy over the last couple of months training new horses and preparing for the race round in Kalgoorlie. The team headed up to Kalgoorlie on September the 17th to perform a total of 8 shows. We kicked off the round by performing at Ladies Day. Then headed out to Ora Banda Day the next day for 3 shows, only to rush back for a performance at the trots back in Kalgoorlie that night. Was a massive 2 days for the horses and we were thankful to have Friday off to relax and re-coop for Kalgoorlie Cup on that Saturday. 5 horses made the trek to the goldfields with two horses that were new to the team. (You would not of thought it though) Swarvy, Buddy, Rastus, Malaika and Shareeba. Unfortunately Carly Thomas and Bec Circosta couldn't make the trip due to "Real Jobs" But we were lucky to have Prim and Cody from NSW join the team for the week and perform. Was an amazing trip and we had an absolute ball.
Horses have had a little break and the team will head to Narrogin Pony Club next week to teach the kiddies some trick riding. Then we are gearing up for the 4th year to perform at the best rodeo in the west.... Harvey Dickson!! Grab your cowboy hat and cowboy boots for a real action packed rodeo! The Rodeo is kicked off with a great Shindig on the Friday Night with great live music and real good times! Main Rodeo starts at 2pm and is followed up by an amazing line-up of bands through-out the night.
The team will then be performing in Serpentine for the Foothills Carnival- Tansey qld Womans Comp where woman will battle it out in Polocrose on the 3rd of November. After this show the team will be making the loooooooooong treck across Australia to Compete at the Australian Trick Riding Championships! Carly, Jacinta and Prim will battle it out with the best, and will also be performing on the Sunday Night.
The team would like to also announce a big WELCOME to our new Team Member Nadine Robertson. You can see Nadines Profile on our riders page. An amazing young lady.
Thank-you to all our supporters. Dont forget to like us on facebook. Our Facebook is updated more often than here

GGGWA have been so busy this year it has been overwhelming! We wouldn't have it any other way though :). Recently all the girls performed at the SEC in Brigadoon for the RDA State office opening One Year Anniverary. Last year the team performed there for the Grand Opening and were asked back again. Watch out for the story in the next issue of the Perth Rider Magazine.
GGGWA were also featured in the number one Australian Horse Magazine for young readers HORSEWYSE. Sophie Mollett who attended a 3day camp last year wrote to the Magazine to tell them about the amazing time she had attending this camp and what she learnt. This story was a wonderful well written story by a young girl. We all enjoyed teaching Sophie, and were so appreciative that she made the long journey to attend this camp. Thanks Sophie for a great story with some beautiful pictures
It doesn't all stop there! Just this Monday gone, the team were asked to perform at the Pinjarra Pacing Cup. GGGWA performed 2 Shows to a massive crowd. The horses performed amazing with a lot going on around them. We had to trust our horses so much this day all while hanging off the side at a flat out gallop while the water spray truck and tractor were going around the track prepping it for the next race. Was a massive team effort as there was not much time between the two performances. When performing at the races, all races are aired on Sky Channel so nothing can be delayed. The team HAD to be ready as soon as horses were off the track. Our show had to run to time with us exiting the arena giving all the smiling fans high fives as we left. Was a wonderful day, and a great team effort.
