Rules of the Girl Geek Dinners
With an event name like Girl Geek Dinners it looks like we're targetting females only. We don't wish to exclude anyone on the grounds of their gender but we do have a few rules. It's not a feminist agenda.We want to encourage women to come to the events and to feel comfortable. If it would have been just "Geek Dinners" then it's possible that only a handful of girl geeks would show up.
No female, no entry
- If you are male and wish to attend the event then you will need to be invited by a female attending the event.
- Girls, I know it's great for the ego to have more than one date for the night, but the rule is: one date only per girl.
- The best way around these rules if you're a guy who wants to attend? Convince or bribe someone to let you be their date for the dinner.
