Events Coming Up
Next Auckland Event
Our next Auckland event will be on Thursday 3rd June at The Drake Tavern. To kick off the evening we've got the NZ 2010 Imagine Cup winners presenting their brilliant idea that uses radio waves to transmit data to OLPCs. For more info, check out Team OneBeep on wikipedia. This will be great practice for them prior to heading off to Poland to represent New Zealand at the World finals. Once Team OneBeep have finished their presentation we'll have 5-10 minute demonstrations of some new technology from Open Media, Logitech, Microsoft and Vodafone. In addition I'll have my HTC Desire available to play with.
Feel free to bring along gadgets of your own to share/show/display, the more the merrier for this event.

Girl Geek: Someone who is female and has an interest in technology, particularly computing and new media. Not necessarily technically minded.
