Gina Glocksen is a 22 year old from Naperville, IL. She is a Dental Assistant by day, Rock singer by night! Gina has been a performer for her whole life. From performing in front of her family and friends to performing with bands, Catfight (where she was a member and a lead singer), and ThenAgain (she is not a member of this band but is close friends with them!)
Gina was born and raised in Tinley Park, Illinois on July 4th! She's been singing since she was six years old and appearing in a lot of community theatre since then. At Andrew High School, she participated in all of the musical activities the school had to offer! She sang for an entertainment agency called "H.Y.P.E. Productions" and sang in their band "New Groove". For season 2 of American Idol, Gina drove to Detroit to follow her dream, but was cut very early on in the auditions. Gina then continuted her day job as a dental assistant in Worth. There at her job, she met the lead singer of the bad ass cover band, "Thenagain". He and the other guys in Thenagain let her make some appearances at their shows and gave Gina the opportunity to sing in front of a real crowd of people and not just a wedding reception. The boys from Thenagain introduced Gina to the girls in Catfight April of 2005 and Gina has become the newest kitten. Gina auditioned for season 5 of American Idol and made it to the Hollywood rounds. Next up for Gina is another American Idol audition. What is it they say? Third times a charm? GOOD LUCK GINA!
