Recently, Gibson Guitars has filed a lawsuit against PRS guitars
because of the similarity of the Gibson Les Paul and the PRS
singlecuts. I am sure I am not the only one who believes that Gibson
has brought about this lawsuit to simply hurt PRS Guitars because they
are Gibson's biggest competition in the high end guitar market. There
are too many other companies that make Les Paul look a likes for Gibson
to say that this suit is simply about a guitar shape. Gibson is trying
to beat their competition without competing. Their lawsuit has been
filed on the wrong principal. I propose that we send
Gibson a message by showing them how many of us think their law suit,
although legal, is not right. If you fill the same way that I do and
would like to
show Gibson that we do not appreciate their actions, then please sign
my
guestbook/petition. Thank you. |

You may be looking at this site and saying to yourself that I am just
trying to bash Gibson. You could not be farther from the truth. In my
opinion(and that is what all this is, just an opinion) Gibson guitars
have faultered in their quaility. PRS has done nothing but produce high
quality instruments. |

I love Gibson guitars and that is why I am doing all of this. Gibson,
by sueing one company out of many that makes a guitar that looks
similar to a Les Paul, is only trying to get rid of their biggest
competition in this particular market. I think it would be much more
constructive for Gibson to raise the quality of their instruments
instead of trying to become a monopoly |

Please voice your concerns to both Gibson and PRS via emails. The
opinion of one is nowhere near as loud as the opinions of many.
