Did You Know ?

One of the earliest known ghost "sightings" in the west took place in Athens, Greece. Pliny the Younger(c. 63 - 113 AD) described it in a letter to Licinius Sura: Athenodoros Cananites(c. 74 BC – 7 AD), a Stocic Philosopher, decided to rent a large, Athenian house, to investigate widespread rumors that it was haunted. Athenodoros staked out at the house that night, and, sure enough, a dishevelled, aged spectre, bound at feet and hands with rattling chains, eventually "appeared". The spirit then beckoned for Athenodoros to follow him; Athenodoros complied, but the ghost soon vanished. The philosopher marked the spot where the old man had disappeared, and, on the next day, advised the magistrates to dig there. The man's shackled bones were reportedly uncovered three years later. After a proper burial, the hauntings ceased.

Law of power.

1. The Power shall not be used to bring harm, to injure or control others. But if the need rises, the Power shall be used to protect your life or the lives of others.

BLOOD DRIPPING

My name is Kay Cofounder of P.P.I Liz had sent me your e-mail to take a look at. I watch the Ghost Whisperer on each Friday if possible, since it is produced by a well known physic. If you are talking about the show this last Friday, the show was about the idea that one day the bad spirits will try to take over the living. Depending on what a persons religious beliefs are if you except it, even on the show this last Friday a woman was having trouble crossing over but with good memories she made it through. The five signs that was given was

1. Blood dripping from flies

2. A dead dove

3. A major disaster (a plane crash on the show)

4.Trapping spirits from passing

5. Collecting an army of spirits

Final Result: Taking over

I am not one to believe this theory, like I said before it depends on your religious beliefs.

Vodou cosmology

In the cosmology of Vodoun, there are three levels of divinity:

Gran Met, or "grand master," also known as Bondye, from the French 'bon dieu: good god' -the true deity, a boundless entity which presides over the spirit world but is not directly worshipped.
The Loas, or Lwas, the "Mysteries," the lesser divinities which are central to worship. The Loas are not gods, per se, but the most powerful ancestral spirits- great men and women, Kings, and divine messengers.
The Dead- the collective ancestral spirits and the spirits of saints. These are ever present with the practitioner, even prior to initiation. It is their actions that usually propel the practitioner to initiation.

Put a bowl of water out-side in the sun for 3 hours.Every hour go out and say.I Bless this water in the name of the,father,son,and holy ghost. After 3 hours bring it in and put it in what every container you would like.

Alot of people have no ideal you can do this on your own. If you feel as tho you have a SPIRIT in your home,and would like to do something about it,try this,and also a cleansing.You may also like to do a salting around the outside of your home. You can always take a crusurfix and go to all areas in the home,and ask them to leave. Believe it or not,sometime a Ghost or Spirit doesn't realize they are dead. And you need to tell them to leave.

Best Times For Ghost Hunting

The best times for ghost hunting are during peak geomagnetic fields and solar storms
(solar flares). Also, it is a well known fact that a good time to ghost hunt is two-three
days before or after full or new moons. Happy ghost hunting !

Oui-ja (Oui-ja Board):

A divining implement consisting of a small, round or more often rectangular platform with letters, numbers and various symbols printed upon it, and a "Plancette". When the fingers of two or more participants are lightly places along the edges of the 'plancette', supposibly unseen forces act upon it, gliding it across the smooth surface of the inscribed platform therefore indicating messages from entities. Conceived of as a parlour game in the wake of popular spiritualism, this is potentially a very dangerous tool for inviting in unpredictable and invaasive forces. Experienced researchers vehemently advise against their usage!

The Haunted "BIG" House

The Mansfield Reformatory, a tough prison built in the late 1800's resembling a medieval castle complete with it's own dungeon, was once a criminal's worst nightmare. It now sits abandoned in the heartland of Ohio. Only its caretakers are left to tell the stories of strange accidents, murders, suicides, and a prison riot gone wrong. Many lost souls still wander the dark prison hallways. Death should have been an escape, but it has become the worst irony…their prison time served in full and yet these ghosts remain forever trapped in empty cells behind unlocked gates.

Dr. '''Duncan MacDougall''' was an early 20th century doctor in [Haverhill, Massachusetts] who sought to measure the weight purportedly lost by a human body when the [soul] departed the body upon death.

In 1907, MacDougall weighed six patients while they were in the process of dying. He took his results (a varying amount of perceived weight loss in most of the six cases) to support his hypothesis that the soul had weight, and when the soul departed the body, so did the weight. MacDougall also measured fifteen dogs in similar circumstances and reported the results as "uniformly negative", with no perceived change in weight. He took these results as confirmation that the soul had weight, and that dogs did not have souls. MacDougall's complaints about ''not'' being able to find dogs dying of the natural causes that would have been ideal have led at least one author to conjecture that he was in fact poisoning dogs to conduct these experiments.

It lent itself to the title of the film '' [21 Grams]''. In the end however, his practices were considered fallible due to shakey methods and small sample size.
